The Portuguese subsidiary of our investee Herbiotech Aroma has signed a contract with the municipality of Castelo Branco

Herbiotech Aroma S.A. (headquartered in Tunis, http://www.herbiotech-aroma.com), a portfolio company of SMBC Agri-Fund GP: Japan Strategic Capital), has established a subsidiary, Herbiotech, Unipessoal Lda. in Portugal at the end of 2023, and has signed a lease contract with the Portuguese city of Castelo Branco for the installation of a processing facility on September 26, 2024.

Herbiotech Aroma has been producing and processing organic dried herbs and olive leaves in Tunisia, and now plans to expand its production in Portugal.
