Seminar on Tunisia’s start-up ecosystem held
On 12 September 2024, Japan Strategic Capital Co.,Ltd. held a seminar on ‘Tunisian Start-up Potential and Fund Investment’ in a hybrid format with both on-site and online participation. The seminar was attended by about 25 participants from companies already operating in Tunisia and those considering expansion in the future.
Mr Thameur Chagour, Managing Director of CAPSA Capital Partners, a Tunisian venture capital, and Mr Anis Allouche, Fund Director, visited Japan from Tunisia and gave the following presentations based on their experience in managing four start-up funds (totalling 6.5 billion yen).

– Overview of CAPSA Capital Partners
– Fund performance and exit status
– Introduction of high-profile start-ups
Leith Tlemcani, CEO of Herbiotech Aroma, one of the portfolio of Japan Strategic Capital and co-invested by CAPSA Capital Partners, also took to the stage to discuss the process of business expansion and CAPSA’s close hands-on support.
